A practical walkthrough of turning datasheet PDFs into usable library parts: layout recovery and OCR, schema-driven parameter extraction across manufacturers, pin table to symbol generation, footprint matching against the stock KiCad libraries, and provenance so every number links back to its source page. Ends with a live demo — PDF in, symbol and footprint out — and an open API plus MCP server for AI tools.
